Who from the US has successfully gotten prescription meds from websites elsewhere (like Canada)? There's a little med I need to stay alive called Asacol that costs $3100 for year supply here in the states and is advertised for around half that at all the Canadian pharma sites I could find with google. Supposedly the government of Canada enforces price controls on pharmaceuticals (unlike the USA where they gouge you for 20 times the manufacturing cost and make billions in profit)

On May 10, 2008 Cairo, Kigali, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, and Rio de Janeiro will be linked to produce a 4-hour program of films, music and speakers. The program will be broadcast live at the same time across the world. According to the festival organizers, "Pangea Day plans to use the power of film to bring the world a little closer together."

In honor of my recent anniversary here at VideoSift, I have decided to submit an amazing video entitled "Barack Obama vs. Pennsylvania". I expect it to be lavished with lots of * quality and * promote tags, and I also believe it will change lives in the process. This will probably break upvote records here on the Sift, I'm just being realistic.

It has also come to my attention that I am up for an NAACP/PETA/ACLU Online Image Award for the 2007/2008 internet year. This is a great honor, and I'm ecstatic to be nominated. There are many people to thank for making this possible: George W Bush, for being the greatest President of this century; Hillary Clinton, for standing by her principles and dodging gunfire in the name of her country; Barack Obama, for showing us that church can unite us all; and finally, to Gov. Eliot Spitzer and Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, for showing exceptional moral leadership in these trying times of recession and depression.

There appears to be a debate on the Youtubes concerning this event. Some have decided to state that they will turn on every light in their house, I assume the reasoning is their way of throwing a big middle finger to the "enviro-hippies". Personally, I find this baffling, although not at all unexpected from the anonymous trolls on Youtube.

My question is this; In what way is the Earth Hour 2008 event a bad thing?

I'm angry. The only reason that McCain would vote like this is to appease the Republican base. I thought that he was principled on this issue, but it seems that it was all an illusion.
